I was so happy to see faces at this Meet & Greet on Saturday that had come specifically to see Miss Gracie. It truly warmed my heart...unless it was the 100+ degree heat! Grace was freshly bathed and looking alert when we left the house. Of course, like any baby, she fell asleep in the car fairly quickly. When we arrived (late as usual, sorry!), Grace perked right up and let everyone hold her and love on her. She would never turn that down, she is an attention hound! Some would say she is spoiled when they see her 'baby blanket' that goes with her everywhere and all the attention she gets but if anyone deserves it, she does!
The nice people at Three Dog Bakery gave Grace samples of their best and she ate every bit of it. She found the bin of flavored rawhides and was trying to pull one out. She didn't realize that the rawhides were longer than she was and probably weighed more than she did. Pictures of this are in the new slideshow.
By the time we left, Gracie was worn out. She promptly crashed in the car and slept the whole way home.
Thank you again to all those who came out to see either Gracie or any of the other wonderful weims that were there. Also, a big thank you to Three Dog Bakery for letting Gracie sample the fare and just being so nice to WRNT!!!
